Accessories for HONDA CBF1000

Accessories for the Honda CBF1000

Long road rides, commuting and weekends away all suit the Honda CBF1000's touring-friendly character. The most useful accessories support that combination: wind protection for motorway miles, space for overnight luggage and a riding position that works over longer distances. A bike used mainly for solo commuting will have different priorities from one regularly taken away with a pillion.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CBF1000

• Screens: help redirect airflow around your upper body on the motorway stretches linking more interesting roads. For a CBF1000 used on longer trips, wind protection is a practical comfort consideration rather than simply a way to change its appearance.
• Luggage cases: provide somewhere to carry clothing and essentials for nights away without relying on a rucksack. They are particularly useful for two-up touring, when both rider and pillion need a share of the available packing space.
• Handlebars and footrests: influence how you sit on and connect with the CBF1000. Considering hand reach and foot position together makes sense when your riding combines long days in the saddle with more active movement on winding roads.
• Crash bobbins and bars: can help limit damage in some stationary drops or low-speed falls. That makes them relevant to a CBF1000 used in town as well as on tour, with parking manoeuvres and frequent stops forming part of both routines.
• Phone mounts: give your navigation device a fixed position on the bike instead of leaving it in a pocket. They are useful for following unfamiliar touring routes or finding your accommodation, with the journey set up before you ride.

Choosing parts for your CBF1000's year

The CBF1000 has changed over the years, with 2006-2009, 2010 and 2011 versions listed here. Parts such as screens, mudguards and exhausts do not fit every version. Choose your bike's year on this page so that only accessories that fit your particular CBF1000 are shown.
