Accessories for the Honda CBF250

The Honda CBF250 is a naked bike suited to everyday commuting and rides along country roads. Town journeys put the emphasis on a comfortable riding position and awareness of surrounding traffic, while open roads make wind protection more relevant. The accessories worth fitting depend on how much of your riding involves each.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CBF250

• Handlebars: your hand position matters when a commute involves repeated turns, junctions and stops. A handlebar that suits your riding posture can help you feel more comfortable on the CBF250, particularly when much of the journey is spent working through town traffic rather than cruising along open roads.
• Screens: on a naked bike, a screen helps divert some of the airflow away from your upper body. It is a useful addition when your CBF250 commute includes exposed roads, or when weekend rides take you further out into the countryside.
• Mirrors: keeping track of vehicles behind you is especially important on a CBF250 used for daily urban travel. Mirrors provide the rearward view you need as part of your observations before changing lanes or leaving a roundabout, where surrounding traffic can move in different directions.
• Protectors: frequent stops and parking manoeuvres are part of everyday town riding. Protectors can help limit damage in minor falls, making them a practical consideration when your CBF250 is regular transport and you want to look after its exposed areas.
