Accessories for the Honda CBF600 ABS

The Honda CBF600 ABS is a versatile road bike suited to everyday commuting, weekend rides and longer trips. Useful additions depend on where you spend your time: wind protection matters on open roads, comfortable controls are welcome on repeated journeys through town, and luggage becomes more important when an afternoon ride turns into a few nights away.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CBF600 ABS

• Screens: a practical choice when your commute includes faster roads or your weekends involve longer distances. A screen helps divert airflow away from your body, making wind protection worth considering if you spend much of your time riding beyond town rather than making short urban hops.
• Handlebars: your hand position influences how you sit on the bike. For a CBF600 ABS used during the week and on winding roads at weekends, handlebar choice is about finding a comfortable reach while retaining a riding position that suits those different journeys.
• Levers: frequent clutch and brake use in traffic puts the contact between fingers and controls into focus. Lever shape and reach matter during stop-start commuting, as well as when you head out onto quieter roads and want a comfortable, controlled grip on the controls.
• Protectors: a sensible addition to a bike that sees regular commuting and parking manoeuvres. They can help limit damage to the areas they cover in a low-speed fall, including the sort of mishap that can happen while turning in a confined parking space.
• Luggage: useful for carrying clothes on a short tour or keeping work essentials off your back during the week. When a pillion joins you for a weekend away, cases also give you space to organise belongings for two rather than relying entirely on rucksacks.

For mainly urban riding, start with the controls you use throughout every journey. If longer road trips are your priority, wind protection and luggage deserve more attention.
