Accessories for the Honda CBF600S

The Honda CBF600S is an all-round road bike suited to the daily commute, weekends on winding roads and longer trips away. Getting it ready for that mix of riding means thinking about wind protection, your riding position and somewhere to carry luggage. The priorities will differ depending on whether most of your miles are through town or out on the open road.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CBF600S

• Screens: useful for taking some of the wind pressure off your upper body on motorway journeys and longer outings. They make particular sense when your CBF600S spends more time covering distance than filtering through urban traffic.
• Handlebars and levers: changing these can help tailor the position of your hands and the reach to the controls. For a CBF600S used throughout the week and at weekends, a comfortable arm position matters beyond the short ride to work.
• Protectors, crash bungs and bars: help limit damage from a stationary drop or low-speed fall. Daily parking and manoeuvring with luggage are good reasons to consider this kind of protection on a regularly used CBF600S.
• Footrests: worth considering alongside the handlebars when refining your riding position. Where your feet sit affects your knee bend, making this a relevant choice for both long road days and more focused riding on twisty routes.
• Luggage cases: carry clothes and personal items for a weekend away without keeping the weight on your back. They also suit a CBF600S that doubles as weekday transport and a touring bike.

Choosing parts for the 2004-2007 and 2008-2013 versions

The CBF600S has changed over the years, so parts can differ between the 2004-2007 and 2008-2013 versions. Footrests, handlebars and phone mounts, for example, are not interchangeable across all years. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.
