Accessories for the Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird

The Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird brings a sporting approach to long-distance road riding. Its sports-touring role means a weekend on winding roads and a longer trip with a pillion can call for different priorities. Wind protection, comfort at the controls and space for luggage are useful starting points when deciding what to fit.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird

• Screens: Sustained motorway riding puts wind protection higher on the list than a short Sunday run. A touring-focused screen can help make the longer stretches between the Blackbird's favourite winding roads more comfortable.
• Protectors and crash protection: Parking at an overnight stop or moving the bike around a garage brings the risk of a stationary tip-over. Protection can help keep vulnerable areas, including parts of the fairing, away from the ground.
• Handlebar accessories: The riding position deserves more attention when a short outing becomes a full day on the road. Accessories around the handlebars let you tailor the control area to how you use your Blackbird, particularly for touring.
• Levers: Twisting roads mean frequent use of the brake and clutch. Lever choice affects how you reach and operate the controls in your riding gloves, making this a practical consideration for the Blackbird's sportier outings.
• Luggage: Multi-day trips need space for more than the essentials, especially with a pillion. Luggage cases support that touring role, although the capacity you need should be balanced against the extra bulk when parking and manoeuvring.

Blackbird versions and model years

The Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird changed over the years, so there are distinctions between the 1997-2001, 2002 and 2003-2007 versions. Items such as protectors, handlebar parts and fairing accessories do not fit every version. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit it.
