Accessories for the Honda CBR125R

The Honda CBR125R brings sports bike styling to everyday commuting and weekend rides on twisty roads. That mix of uses gives you a useful starting point for choosing accessories: protection matters around town, wind management becomes more relevant on open roads, and smaller finishing touches can emphasise its sporty appearance.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CBR125R

• Screens: if your commute takes you beyond town streets, managing airflow can make the road sections more comfortable. A screen helps deflect the wind, while its shape and your riding position on the CBR125R influence where that protection is most noticeable.
• Protectors, crash bobbins and crash bars: daily parking and low-speed manoeuvring make protection worth considering on a sports bike used for commuting. These parts can help limit damage from a stationary drop, particularly while you are building confidence, but cannot prevent every scrape or breakage.
• Mirrors: keeping track of traffic behind you matters when changing lanes on an urban commute. Prioritise a useful rearward view from your normal riding position, rather than appearance alone, so your arms do not obscure too much of what you need to see.
• Number plate holders: these let you alter the look of the rear end to complement the CBR125R's sporty lines. They are primarily a styling choice rather than a commuting improvement, so protection and visibility are sensible priorities before finishing touches.

CBR125R versions: why the year matters

The CBR125R has changed over the years, with 2007-2010, 2011-2014 and 2015-2016 versions to distinguish when choosing parts. Items such as handlebar parts, exhausts and protectors do not necessarily fit across all of them. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit your CBR125R.
