Accessories for the Honda CBR600RR ABS

The Honda CBR600RR ABS is a sports bike suited to winding roads and track days. Its riding position puts the relationship between your hands, feet and wind protection at the heart of accessory choices. A bike that also handles weekday journeys calls for slightly different priorities from one used mainly for weekend rides or sessions on a circuit.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CBR600RR ABS

• Screens: on road rides, a screen helps reduce wind pressure on your upper body. On track, its shape matters when you tuck down over the tank along the straights, so consider the coverage it provides in the position you actually ride in.
• Protectors: these can help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike falls. Whether your CBR600RR ABS is used for Sunday rides or regular track days, protecting exposed areas is a practical priority before making purely cosmetic changes.
• Levers: brake and clutch operation are central to sports riding. Lever shape and reach affect how your fingers meet the controls from a forward riding position, with benefits worth considering for both corner-to-corner riding and frequent gear changes in town.
• Footrests: your feet provide support as you shift your body on the bike. For twisty roads and circuit riding, the useful questions are how securely your boots rest on the pegs and how your legs sit within your riding position.
• Number plate holders: the plate holder contributes to the appearance of a sports bike’s rear end. It offers a way to personalise your road-going CBR600RR ABS without making the fairing the sole focus of visual changes.

For mixed road use, start with the contact points and wind protection. If track days make up most of your riding, give foot support and protective accessories more weight than cosmetic finishing touches.
