Accessories for the Honda CBR900RR Fireblade

Twisty roads and track days are natural territory for the Honda CBR900RR Fireblade. As a sports bike, it puts the rider’s position and contact with the controls at the centre of the experience. The accessories worth prioritising depend on your riding: longer road outings bring wind protection into focus, while circuit use puts more emphasis on support, controls and crash protection.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CBR900RR Fireblade

• Screens: Useful for managing airflow on faster roads and the motorway miles between your favourite riding routes. On the Fireblade, the benefit is closely linked to your riding position and how far you tuck in behind the screen.
• Levers: Repeated braking and gear changes make the controls a priority on winding roads or track days. For a Fireblade used this way, a comfortable connection with the levers matters more than appearance alone.
• Footpegs: Your feet provide support as you shift your body through corners. On a sports bike like the Fireblade, footpegs are an important part of the riding position, working alongside the seat and your hand position.
• Crash protection: A practical priority for a Fireblade that divides its time between road rides and circuit sessions. Protectors and crash bungs can help limit fall damage to the areas they protect, rather than simply changing the bike’s looks.
• Fasteners: Worth considering when refreshing a Fireblade for regular road use. Replacing fixings can be part of maintenance or a cosmetic tidy-up, giving attention to the smaller details as well as the more visible accessories.

Choosing parts for your Fireblade’s year

The CBR900RR Fireblade has changed over the years, and the 1996-1997, 1998-1999, 2000-2001 and 2002-2003 versions do not share every part. Items such as levers, footpegs and screens are not interchangeable across all these versions. Choose your bike’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.
