Accessories for the Honda CRF 150 R

The Honda CRF 150 R is a motocross bike made for riding off road. On a dirt track, braking into corners, crossing ruts and landing jumps all place demands on the suspension and brakes. Those are the areas worth focusing on here: rather than adding luggage or wind protection, you can look at parts that suit the way the bike is ridden and the ground it has to cover.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CRF 150 R

Accessories for this model focus on two parts of the bike that come into play throughout a lap. What matters most will depend on the tracks you ride and the aspect of the bike’s response you want to address.

• Suspension: ruts, repeated bumps and jump landings give the suspension plenty to deal with, often in quick succession. Suspension parts are relevant when you want to focus the CRF 150 R’s set-up on absorbing those impacts and settling between sections of a track. Öhlins is among the accessory brands available for this model.
• Brakes: motocross calls for controlled braking as you approach a bend, sometimes immediately after a faster section. Brake parts are worth considering when your focus is on managing that change of pace and the feel at the lever as you set up for a corner. Braking is one of the accessory brands listed for the CRF 150 R.

For the 2007 Honda CRF 150 R, suspension and brakes are two practical areas to consider when preparing for a day on dirt. Think about whether rough sections, jump landings or corner entries take more of your attention on the tracks you usually ride.
