Accessories for the Honda CRF250 Rally

The Honda CRF250 Rally is a trail bike at home on roads and unsurfaced tracks. That mix of riding shapes what is worth fitting: protecting exposed areas matters more when you leave the tarmac, while luggage becomes useful when a short ride turns into a longer trip. Regular attention to maintenance also makes sense if dusty tracks are a familiar part of your route. The right priorities depend on where you actually ride, rather than on treating every journey as an off-road expedition.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CRF250 Rally

• Protectors: loose stones, ruts and slow manoeuvres are all part of riding on tracks. Protection is worth considering for the areas most exposed to scrapes and knocks, especially if your CRF250 Rally spends more than the occasional afternoon away from paved roads.
• Filters: riding in dusty conditions puts routine upkeep firmly on the agenda. Filters are a relevant part of looking after a bike that regularly switches between roads and tracks, rather than something to think about only when preparing for a longer journey.
• Stands and side stands: breaks on a mixed-surface ride do not always happen on a neat, paved forecourt. How you support the bike when stopping, or while dealing with routine jobs between rides, can be particularly relevant when your routes take you beyond the road.
• Luggage cases: carrying a change of clothes, tools or other travel essentials is easier when everything need not go in a backpack. Luggage makes sense for a CRF250 Rally used for longer days out or trips that link stretches of road with tracks.

Start with the riding you do most often. Frequent tracks put protection and upkeep in focus; longer outings make carrying your kit more important. That way, the accessories you choose reflect the journeys you have in mind.
