Accessories for HONDA NC700X

Honda NC700X accessories for commuting and weekend trips

The Honda NC700X is a road-focused adventure bike suited to weekday commuting and weekend trips. That mix of uses makes wind protection, comfort at the controls and protection against low-speed mishaps sensible priorities. Where you spend most of your riding time matters: short journeys through town call for a different balance from regular motorway miles or full days exploring country roads.

What riders usually fit to the Honda NC700X

• Screens: A useful starting point if your commute includes exposed dual carriageways or your weekends involve longer distances. On the NC700X, reducing wind exposure becomes more valuable as the miles build up, with screen height and shape influencing the shelter around your riding position.
• Crash bars and sliders: Everyday parking and low-speed manoeuvres make protection worth considering, even when your adventure riding stays firmly on tarmac. These accessories help limit damage to the areas they protect if the bike tips over, whether outside work or during a touring stop.
• Handlebars and levers: These address your position at the controls and your reach to the levers. For an NC700X used in stop-start traffic as well as on open roads, a comfortable hand position matters both during frequent manoeuvres and over longer, uninterrupted stretches.
• Footrests: Foot support deserves attention when a quick ride becomes an afternoon on country roads. The platform beneath your boots and its relationship to your leg position are useful considerations when setting up the NC700X for more time in the saddle.
• Phone mounts: Handy when the familiar commute gives way to unfamiliar weekend routes. A mount gives your phone a dedicated place for navigation; set the destination before leaving and stop somewhere safe whenever you need to change the route.

For mostly urban riding, focus first on the controls and protection. If longer road journeys dominate, put wind protection and comfortable contact points higher on your list.
