Accessories for the Honda NT700V Deauville

The Honda NT700V Deauville is a touring motorcycle equally suited to the daily commute and a longer road trip, including journeys with a pillion. That combination gives accessories a practical role rather than a purely cosmetic one. Frequent town riding puts the emphasis on comfortable controls and protection during parking manoeuvres, while longer days bring wind protection, riding position and luggage into focus.

What riders usually fit to the Honda NT700V Deauville

• Levers: commuting on a Deauville means repeated clutch and brake use through queues and junctions. A lever shape that feels comfortable in your hand can make those controls more pleasant to use, as well as suiting long stretches of riding in gloves.
• Handlebars: hand position matters when a quick ride to work and a full day of touring share the same bike. Accessories around the handlebars are worth considering if you want to address how your arms and shoulders sit in your normal riding position.
• Crash bobbins and engine bars: these are useful considerations for tight parking spaces and low-speed manoeuvres at journey stops. They help limit the effects of certain knocks or stationary falls on the areas they cover, rather than preventing every kind of damage.
• Screens: wind protection becomes a priority when your Deauville spends much of its time on motorways or open roads. A screen helps manage airflow around the rider, with its height relative to your seated position an important part of the choice.
• Luggage: overnight trips and touring with a pillion make carrying space particularly valuable. For a Deauville used throughout the working week, luggage can also carry everyday essentials, so it makes sense to plan around commuting needs as well as holiday packing.
