Accessories for HONDA PAN-EUROPEAN

Accessories for the Honda Pan-European

Long road journeys are the Honda Pan-European’s natural territory. This touring motorcycle suits solo trips and travelling with a pillion, so wind protection, luggage and a comfortable riding position deserve particular attention. The most useful accessories address the hours spent on the road as well as the practicalities of parking and unpacking at the end of the day.

What riders usually fit to the Honda Pan-European

• Screens: Sustained motorway riding makes airflow a priority. A screen helps manage the wind reaching the rider, but its height needs to suit your stature and seated position. Think about your sightline as well as shelter when preparing the Pan-European for longer journeys.
• Crash protection and bars: These help limit damage if the bike tips over at a standstill or at low speed. They are particularly relevant to touring use, where tight hotel car parks and manoeuvring with luggage can be part of the daily routine.
• Luggage: Carrying clothing and overnight essentials neatly makes multi-day trips easier to organise. For two-up touring, consider the space needed by both people and how the load will be distributed, rather than simply concentrating everything in one place.
• Handlebar accessories: This is an area to consider when tailoring the riding position for distance. On the Pan-European, the aim is a relaxed reach to the controls without having to hold your arms or upper body awkwardly through long stretches of road.
• Stands and supports: Supporting the bike while parked matters on tour too. These accessories serve the stops between riding: loading luggage before departure, parking for a break and leaving the Pan-European standing overnight.

For regular two-up trips, plan around both seats. Luggage should leave your pillion room to sit comfortably and get on or off without unnecessary obstacles.
