Accessories for the Honda Scoopy SH50

The Honda Scoopy SH50 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys around town, where short rides often come with several stops and regular parking. That pattern of use is a useful starting point when choosing accessories. Rather than fitting equipment for long-distance riding, you might want to focus on looking after the scooter, securing it while you are away and finding your way through unfamiliar streets.

What riders usually fit to the Honda Scoopy SH50

For a Scoopy SH50 used in town, each of these accessory types answers a different part of the daily routine:

• Protectors: worth considering if your scooter is often parked alongside other vehicles or manoeuvred through tight spaces at low speed. They are aimed at helping to look after exposed areas where the small knocks and scuffs of everyday urban use are a concern.
• Security locks: useful when the Scoopy SH50 is left outside during work, errands or a series of short visits. Options from brands such as Artago and Urban add a security measure to a day that involves repeatedly parking the scooter and walking away from it.
• Bodywork and styling: relevant if you want to attend to a particular exterior area or keep the appearance of your Scoopy SH50 in mind. On a scooter used regularly around town, the bodywork is part of every parking stop and close-quarters manoeuvre.
• Phone mounts: helpful for following a route across unfamiliar parts of town without holding your phone as you ride. You can set the directions before setting off and keep them in view on journeys where you would otherwise need to stop and check the way.

Consider whether your Scoopy SH50 spends more of the day being ridden between errands or parked while you get things done. That can help you decide whether security, protection or route guidance deserves your attention first.
