Accessories for the Honda SH 300i E3

The Honda SH 300i E3 is a scooter suited to everyday travel, particularly around town, while also making sense for journeys on the road. Those two settings place different demands on an accessory: parking and manoeuvring are part of the urban routine, whereas wind becomes more noticeable on longer stretches. The useful additions are therefore the ones that address how and where you actually ride, rather than simply adding more equipment to the scooter.

What riders usually fit to the Honda SH 300i E3

• Protectors: worth considering if your daily journey involves frequent parking, tight spaces or manoeuvring among other vehicles. They are intended to help protect the areas they cover from minor knocks and scrapes. Think about where you leave your SH 300i E3 most often: the concerns of a crowded street can be quite different from those of a more spacious parking area.
• Screens: useful when your journey continues beyond the city and you spend longer riding at a steady pace. They can reduce the wind reaching you, which may matter more on a regular road commute than on a short trip between nearby streets. How much time you spend outside town is a sensible way to decide whether wind protection deserves priority.
• Phone mounts: help keep navigation in view when you have several stops to make or need to find an unfamiliar address. That is particularly handy on a scooter used for varied routes across the city, where directions can change from one journey to the next. Position the phone so that you can follow the route without taking unnecessary attention away from traffic.
