Accessories for the Honda VFR800

The Honda VFR800 is a sports tourer for riders who mix winding-road outings with longer journeys. That balance makes wind protection, riding position and luggage useful starting points when deciding what to fit. A bike used for the daily commute will have different priorities from one regularly heading away with a pillion.

What riders usually fit to the Honda VFR800

• Screens: Worth considering when your VFR800 spends plenty of time covering motorway miles between more interesting roads. Screen height and shape affect how airflow is directed around you in your normal riding position.
• Luggage: Gives clothing and touring essentials a place on the bike rather than on your back. It becomes particularly useful when a day ride turns into a weekend away, or you need to pack for two.
• Protectors and crash protection: Help shield exposed areas in a stationary drop or low-speed fall. That is useful when manoeuvring the VFR800 in a garage or negotiating parking spaces during a loaded touring trip.
• Levers: Frequent clutch and brake use in town makes comfort at the controls important, while touring keeps your hands there for longer. Lever shape and reach influence how comfortably you can operate both controls.
• Handlebars: Hand position deserves attention if long-distance riding is a regular part of your VFR800 ownership. It affects the load on your wrists during motorway stretches as well as your posture on twisting roads.

Honda VFR800 versions: 2002-2005 and 2006-2012

The VFR800 has changed over the years, so parts are not necessarily interchangeable between the 2002-2005 and 2006-2012 versions. Select your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours, rather than relying on the model name alone.
