Accessories for the Honda VT 1100 C Shadow

The Honda VT 1100 C Shadow is a cruiser suited to unhurried rides, whether you are heading out for a short spin or spending longer on the road. That makes wind exposure, a comfortable riding position and the bike’s distinctive appearance useful things to consider when choosing accessories. What works for an occasional weekend ride may not be what you value most when the Shadow is also part of your everyday routine.

What riders usually fit to the Honda VT 1100 C Shadow

The accessories available for this model focus on three practical areas: shelter from the wind, a clear view behind you and added protection. Each can make a difference to the way you use this particular cruiser:

• Windscreens: on longer stretches of road, a screen can take some of the airflow away from your upper body. It is worth considering if your rides on the VT 1100 C Shadow often take you beyond town for steady miles. Puig is among the accessory brands represented for this bike.
• Mirrors: a relaxed cruiser riding position calls for a rearward view that does not have you shifting awkwardly in the seat. Mirrors also contribute to the Shadow’s overall look, so they matter both on the move and when you are deciding how you want the bike to appear.
• Protectors: parking, wheeling the bike around and negotiating tight urban spaces all bring the possibility of a minor knock. Additional protection can help reduce the exposure of certain areas, particularly if your Shadow sees regular use as well as leisurely rides.

The accessories on this page are for Honda VT 1100 C Shadow models from 1988 to 1993. Consider where you spend most of your riding time: that will help you decide whether shelter, rearward visibility or protection matters most to you.
