Accessories for the Honda VT 750 C Shadow ABS

The Honda VT 750 C Shadow ABS is a cruiser suited to unhurried rides, whether you are heading out on the open road or making your way across town. That mix of uses shapes which accessories are worth considering: a screen can make longer stretches more comfortable, while mirrors and protectors address different parts of everyday riding. It helps to start with the journeys you actually make rather than changing the bike simply for the sake of it.

What riders usually fit to the Honda VT 750 C Shadow ABS

Here, the useful choices are largely about managing wind, keeping a clear view behind you and making the bike easier to live with when you stop. Puig is among the accessory brands available for this model.

• Screens: when a leisurely ride turns into a longer trip, wind pressure can become more noticeable. A screen helps take some of that pressure off the rider, particularly on open roads, without changing the easy-going character of a ride on the Shadow.
• Mirrors: they affect the look of a cruiser, but their everyday job matters just as much. A clear view to the rear helps when joining traffic, changing lanes or keeping an eye on vehicles approaching from behind during a steady ride.
• Protectors: weekend outings often come with stops, parking and slow-speed manoeuvres, especially if you also ride in town. Protectors help shield parts of the bike from scrapes and minor knocks in those situations.
• Stands and side stands: useful when parking or carrying out certain care tasks, they are worth considering if you regularly look after your Shadow yourself. Think about where you usually leave the bike and the work you do while it is stationary.

The right starting point depends on what features most in your riding: time spent in the wind, frequent urban stops or the routine of caring for the bike between trips.
