Accessories for the Honda VT600C Shadow

The Honda VT600C Shadow is a cruiser suited to unhurried riding, whether that means everyday journeys or a longer run on the open road. How the bike feels from the saddle matters just as much as how it looks when parked. That makes mirrors, protection and riding position worthwhile places to focus when choosing accessories for your Shadow, rather than treating every addition as purely decorative.

What riders usually fit to the Honda VT600C Shadow

• Mirrors: on a cruiser, mirrors help define the view from the riding position as well as the bike’s appearance. They matter particularly when your route takes you from town streets onto faster roads, where keeping track of traffic behind you is part of a relaxed ride.
• Protectors: the Shadow may spend as much time being parked and manoeuvred as it does out on a weekend ride. Protecting exposed areas can help limit damage from a minor knock or a low-speed mishap without losing sight of the bike’s cruiser character.
• Handlebars: where your hands sit affects your posture throughout a ride. On the VT600C Shadow, that can be noticeable both while making slow turns around town and after spending longer in the saddle on the road.
• Covers and blankets: a cover is useful when the Shadow is parked between outings, helping keep dust and dirt off the bike. It is especially relevant if you enjoy keeping its visible finishes tidy but cannot always park under cover.
