Accessories for the Honda VT750C

The Honda VT750C is a custom-style motorcycle suited to unhurried rides and relaxed riding. Whether you use it around town or head out onto the open road, that kind of riding shapes which accessories make sense. A clear view of the traffic behind you, some protection during slow manoeuvres and shelter from the wind can all make a difference. For VT750C models from 1982 to 1984, the options here focus on those everyday and leisure-riding needs.

What riders usually fit to the Honda VT750C

• Mirrors: a relaxed riding position should still give you a clear picture of what is happening behind you. Mirrors matter when pulling away from the kerb, joining a road or changing lanes, and are worth considering if your VT750C sees a mix of town traffic and longer rides.
• Protectors: parking, turning in a tight space and moving at walking pace are part of using a motorcycle regularly. Protectors can help limit the bike’s exposure to minor knocks or a stationary drop. They are particularly relevant if your rides begin and end with manoeuvring through narrow streets or busy parking areas.
• Screens: on a custom motorcycle, an upright riding position leaves you feeling the airflow on longer stretches of road. A screen can divert some of that wind, making a leisurely run beyond town more comfortable without changing the way you like to ride.

Think about where you spend most of your time on the VT750C. If short trips and frequent stops are typical, visibility and protection may be your priorities; if you often stay out for longer rides, a little shelter from the wind may be more valuable.
