Accessories for the Honda XRV750 Africa Twin

The Honda XRV750 Africa Twin suits riders whose journeys do not always end where the tarmac stops. Its adventure touring character makes luggage, protection and riding position useful starting points when planning accessories. Whether yours handles the daily commute, longer road trips or weekends exploring trails, the priorities depend on how much you carry and how you divide your time between seated and standing riding.

What riders usually fit to the Honda XRV750 Africa Twin

• Handlebars: hand position matters on long stretches of road, but it also affects your stance when standing on the pegs along a trail. For mixed riding on the Africa Twin, the aim is a riding position that accommodates both without feeling awkward.
• Luggage: multi-day trips call for space for clothing and everyday essentials without carrying everything in a rucksack. Luggage becomes particularly useful when travelling two-up on the Africa Twin, with both rider and pillion needing room for their belongings.
• Protectors and crash bars: venturing onto tracks brings the possibility of a low-speed drop onto uneven ground. Protective accessories help shield the areas they cover from contact, making them a relevant consideration for an Africa Twin used beyond surfaced roads.
• Footpegs: your footing becomes especially important when you stand up on trails or shift position during a long day. Alongside the handlebars, the pegs deserve attention when setting up the Africa Twin for a combination of road miles and off-road exploring.
• Stands: parking and routine maintenance are practical parts of travelling on an adventure bike. Stand accessories address these less glamorous needs, which become more noticeable when your Africa Twin is carrying luggage and you are making regular stops along the route.

When planning a touring setup, leave enough room for your pillion as well as their bags. For trips that include trails, keep luggage clear of the space you need to move around on the bike.
