Accessories for the Husqvarna FC 450

The Husqvarna FC 450 is a motocross bike built for riding on dirt, taking jumps and linking corners on the track. That shapes what is worth fitting: luggage and wind protection have little to do with a day of motocross, while protection, control and practical support between sessions matter much more. Think about both sides of the day, from the time spent riding to the work you do on the bike back in the paddock.

What riders usually fit to the Husqvarna FC 450

• Protectors: dirt riding brings mud, stones and the occasional low-speed fall into the picture. Protectors are intended to look after the areas they cover when the bike is used in those conditions. On the FC 450, they make particular sense for riders who train regularly and want to limit the effect of the knocks that can come with practising on a motocross track.
• Levers: clutch and front brake inputs are part of almost every lap, whether you are setting up for a corner, approaching a jump or adjusting your line. Levers are direct points of contact with the bike, so they deserve attention when you spend long sessions riding the FC 450. It is a choice tied to how you operate the controls, rather than to how the bike looks when parked.
• Stands and side stands: a track day does not end when you stop riding. A stand can make it easier to support the bike while cleaning it or carrying out work in the paddock. A side stand serves a different purpose when you need to leave it parked during a break. Both address the practical time spent off the bike between rides.

Start with what happens on the track, then consider how you prepare and look after the bike afterwards. That distinction helps you focus on accessories that suit the way you use your FC 450.
