Accessories for the Husqvarna Norden 901

Long road journeys and stretches of unsurfaced track are both part of the Husqvarna Norden 901's adventure riding brief. That mix makes luggage, wind protection and riding position sensible starting points when choosing accessories. A bike used for two-up touring has different priorities from one that spends more time on trails, so the most useful additions depend on where and how you ride.

What riders usually fit to the Husqvarna Norden 901

• Footrests: Standing on the pegs is part of riding trails, making boot support particularly relevant on the Norden 901. Footrests suited to that use can help you feel more settled as you move between seated road riding and standing off-road.
• Protectors and crash bars: For a Norden 901 that ventures onto tracks, these help shield exposed areas from knocks and low-speed falls. Protection deserves attention alongside carrying capacity when a touring route includes stretches away from the tarmac.
• Windscreens: Long road sections put the focus on wind protection rather than just appearance. Screen height and shape affect the airflow you experience while seated, making this a useful area to consider when preparing the Norden for full days on the road.
• Panniers: Multi-day trips mean finding room for clothing and travel essentials without relying on a backpack. When touring with a pillion, plan luggage space around both riders' needs rather than treating the passenger's kit as an afterthought.
• Phone mounts: If your phone handles navigation, a mount keeps route guidance in view when linking back roads with trails. Position it without obscuring the instruments, and set up the journey before riding rather than making adjustments on the move.

For mostly road-based touring, focus first on wind protection and luggage. For regular trail riding, foot support and protection for exposed parts become just as important.
