Accessories for the Husqvarna Svartpilen 125

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 is a scrambler-inspired naked bike suited to town journeys and outings on winding roads. Those two settings put different demands on its accessories. Frequent stops make the controls worth attention, while time on open roads brings wind protection and foot support into focus. Protection against parking mishaps also makes sense for a bike used every day.

What riders usually fit to the Husqvarna Svartpilen 125

For a Svartpilen used both for commuting and weekend rides, these are useful areas to focus on rather than making changes purely for appearance:

• Levers: stop-start traffic means repeated use of the clutch and front brake. Lever shape and reach influence how your fingers sit on the controls, making them particularly relevant when much of your riding involves junctions, queues and traffic lights.
• Footpegs: on twisting roads, your feet provide an important point of contact with the bike. The footpegs support that connection through corners, but comfort still matters when the same bike has to carry you through the daily commute.
• Mirrors: keeping track of traffic behind is essential before changing lanes around town. On the Svartpilen's naked silhouette, mirrors are also visually prominent, so their shape affects the bike's appearance as well as the view from the riding position.
• Screens: a screen can deflect some of the airflow reaching your upper body on open roads. It becomes more relevant when your commute includes faster stretches, rather than short journeys spent mostly moving between traffic lights.
• Crash protectors and bars: parking and tight, low-speed turns are regular parts of urban riding. These accessories aim to limit damage if the bike tips over at a standstill, although they cannot prevent every part from making contact with the ground.
