Accessories for the Hyosung GT250Ri

The Hyosung GT250Ri is a sports bike with a forward-leaning riding position and full fairing. It makes sense for everyday journeys as well as rides on winding roads, and those two settings put different demands on accessories. Parking and slow manoeuvres matter in town; on a longer ride, the airflow around the rider becomes more noticeable. Working out where you spend most of your time on the bike is a useful starting point.

What riders usually fit to the Hyosung GT250Ri

• Protectors: fairing and other exposed parts are worth thinking about when a sports bike is regularly parked or manoeuvred at low speed. Protectors are particularly relevant if your GT250Ri does the weekday commute before heading out for a ride at the weekend. They address a different concern from accessories chosen for comfort or appearance.
• Screens: the GT250Ri’s riding position makes the air reaching the rider an important part of a road ride. A screen can alter that airflow, which may matter more when you are covering miles outside town than on a short urban trip. It also changes the look of the bike’s front end, so the effect you want on the road is worth considering alongside its appearance.
• Exhausts: an exhaust changes how the bike sounds and can give its sporting shape a different visual accent. For riders who enjoy taking the GT250Ri along winding roads, that is a choice about the experience of riding rather than about parking protection or managing airflow.

There is no need to treat all three as the same kind of upgrade. If most rides involve city traffic, protectors may be the first thing to consider. If you regularly spend longer stretches on open roads, a screen becomes more relevant. An exhaust is a separate choice when sound and appearance are what you want to change on your Hyosung GT250Ri.
