Accessories for the Hyosung GT650S

The Hyosung GT650S is a sporty road bike suited to everyday rides as well as time spent enjoying winding roads. That mix of uses is worth keeping in mind when choosing accessories. Some are about looking after the bike during regular use, others make life easier when it is parked, and others change its appearance or sound. The right starting point is how you ride your GT650S and what matters to you between rides.

What riders usually fit to the Hyosung GT650S

• Protectors: A ride on the GT650S may take in flowing bends, town traffic and the slow manoeuvres needed to park at the other end. Protectors are worth considering for exposed areas when those everyday moments are part of your routine. They appeal to riders who want to take care of their bike without changing the way they use it on the road, whether that means regular commuting or weekend outings.
• Stands and supports: Riding is only part of owning a GT650S; it also needs a place between trips. Suitable support can make it easier to organise space in the garage and attend to routine care, such as cleaning. If you do some of that work yourself, think about how you handle the bike when it is not being ridden. If you use it every day, where you leave it parked matters too.
• Exhausts: On a sporty road bike, the exhaust contributes to both the sound you hear and the look you see. For a GT650S used on longer road rides, that choice may feel different from one made for frequent short journeys. It is a way to give the bike a more personal touch, but it is worth considering how you want it to feel during the riding you actually do.

Accessories for the Hyosung GT650S include brands such as Puig and Ixil. Whether protection, support or an exhaust comes first depends on your rides and on how you look after the bike off the road.
