Accessories for the Hyosung GV650 Aquila

The Hyosung GV650 Aquila is a custom-style motorcycle made for unhurried rides. A short trip around town puts different demands on it from an afternoon spent on the open road: in town, you may want to keep things simple, while longer stretches make wind protection more noticeable. How and where you ride is therefore a useful starting point when deciding what to fit. For the 2005–2011 GV650 Aquila, the accessories here focus on two practical concerns: taking some of the wind off the rider and adding protection to the bike.

What riders usually fit to the Hyosung GV650 Aquila

• Screens: riding a custom on open roads means spending time in the airflow, particularly when a journey extends beyond a quick local run. A screen can help take the force of the wind off your chest and make sustained riding more comfortable. If you use the Aquila for both town journeys and weekend rides, consider how much shelter you want while keeping that open-air feel.
• Protectors: regular use brings plenty of slow manoeuvres and parking, as well as time on the road. Protectors can help shield exposed parts of the GV650 Aquila from minor knocks and scuffs, making them worth considering if you often ride it day to day. Puig is among the accessory brands available for this model.

These two types of accessory serve different parts of the same ride. A screen is most relevant when you spend longer in the wind; protectors are about looking after the motorcycle during everyday use. You can give priority to whichever better reflects your journeys, whether the Aquila is mainly for short outings or for taking the longer way home.
