Accessories for the Hyosung ST700i

The Hyosung ST700i is a cruiser-style motorcycle suited to unhurried road rides as well as everyday journeys. On a bike used this way, time in the saddle and low-speed handling can matter as much as the destination. That makes wind protection and protection during everyday manoeuvres sensible things to consider. The accessories available for the ST700i centre on screens and protectors, so it is worth thinking about where you ride most often and which part of the experience you want to address first.

What riders usually fit to the Hyosung ST700i

• Screens: on a longer road ride, steady airflow can become tiring even when the pace is relaxed. A screen can deflect some of that air, making it a useful option if you regularly spend time on open roads rather than making only short trips. How much shelter you feel will depend on the screen’s shape and height and on your riding position. For the ST700i, the question is whether you want more cover for extended outings or a less pronounced screen for shorter journeys.
• Protectors: parking, moving the bike in a garage and turning in tight spaces are part of owning a cruiser, not just the miles spent riding it. Protectors are intended to help limit damage to certain areas in a scrape or minor fall, depending on the part fitted. They cannot prevent every mark or replace careful handling, but they are worth considering if your ST700i sees frequent day-to-day use alongside weekend rides. Puig is among the accessory brands available for this model.

This page covers accessories for the Hyosung ST700i from 2011 to 2023. If longer rides are your usual plan, start by considering the airflow; if everyday handling is the bigger concern, the protectors may be more relevant.
