Accessories for the Kawasaki EN500

The Kawasaki EN500 is a cruiser suited to unhurried road rides and everyday journeys. Its relaxed riding style makes wind protection and a comfortable reach to the bars more relevant than accessories aimed at sporty riding. Whether you use yours around town or for longer outings, it makes sense to focus on comfort, rearward visibility and protection during low-speed manoeuvres.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki EN500

• Windscreens: on longer road rides, a screen helps redirect airflow away from your upper body. For the EN500's relaxed cruising use, that means less need to lean forwards in search of shelter when you would rather settle into a comfortable, upright riding position.
• Protectors: useful when your cruiser also handles the daily trip through town, these can help limit damage from minor knocks or a stationary tip-over. They are worth considering for the slow manoeuvres involved in parking and moving the bike through confined spaces.
• Mirrors: these can complement the EN500's custom styling while providing a useful view behind. When your rides mix open roads with urban traffic, mirror positioning matters: a clear rearward view should not require you to shift out of your normal riding position.
• Handlebars: the reach to the controls affects your arm and wrist position throughout a ride. On a cruiser used for leisurely outings, a bar change is about more than appearance; it can alter how comfortably you sit as short trips become longer days on the road.

For an EN500 used mainly on open roads, wind protection is a sensible starting point. If town riding features just as often, balance that comfort with clear visibility and easy low-speed control.
