Accessories for the Kawasaki GPX750R

The Kawasaki GPX750R is a road-going sports bike suited to everyday journeys as well as rides on winding roads. What you fit to it is not just about time spent riding. Slow manoeuvres, stops along the way and finding a place to park are part of owning and using this bike too. Those moments make it worth paying attention to exposed areas that can be vulnerable when space is tight.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki GPX750R

For this model, the accessory choice centres on protectors, with Puig among the brands available. They make particular sense if your rides combine open roads with town streets or busy stopping points. Even a day spent enjoying the bends involves moving the GPX750R at walking pace when you set off, fill up or park at the end.

• Protectors: these can help shield exposed areas from minor knocks and scuffs during slow handling or parking. On a faired sports bike such as the GPX750R, that attention to what happens off the open road is useful: a tight parking space calls for very different movements from a flowing ride. Protectors cannot prevent every mark or mishap, but they add a practical measure of care for regular use and longer days out.

Think about where your own rides begin and end, not only the roads in between. A weekend route may include crowded petrol stations and unfamiliar parking spaces; a daily journey brings repeated low-speed manoeuvres. Those are the situations in which protection can be useful. It complements careful handling rather than replacing it, while letting the GPX750R remain focused on the road riding you use it for.
