Accessories for the Kawasaki GTR1400

The Kawasaki GTR1400 is a sports tourer suited to covering long distances, whether riding solo or with a pillion. Trips can take in motorway stretches, winding roads and the final ride into town, so choosing accessories is about more than appearance. Wind protection, riding position and carrying luggage all deserve attention when preparing it for days on the road.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki GTR1400

• Screens: Managing airflow matters when a touring day includes hours on the motorway. Your height and seated position help determine the coverage you need, making a screen particularly relevant to the GTR1400’s long-distance role.
• Crash bobbins and bars: Touring also involves manoeuvring through hotel car parks, fuel stops and unfamiliar parking spaces. These accessories can help limit damage in a low-speed fall, addressing a different part of the journey from comfort while riding.
• Handlebar accessories: Time spent at the controls adds up over consecutive riding days. Accessories in this area can help address hand position and support, useful considerations when preparing a sports tourer for sustained road use rather than short local journeys.
• Luggage: Multi-day trips call for somewhere to organise clothing and other essentials, especially when travelling two-up. Motorcycle luggage reduces reliance on a rucksack and gives the rider and pillion a practical way to carry what they need.
• Covers: A cover is useful when overnight touring stops leave the bike parked outdoors. It lets you cover the GTR1400 at your destination, particularly on trips where access to a garage is not part of the plan.

Choosing parts for your GTR1400’s year

The GTR1400 has changed over the years, and the 2007-2012, 2013-2014 and 2015-2017 versions do not always take the same parts. Crash bobbins and bars, along with screens, are examples of accessories that do not fit every version. Choose your bike’s year on this page to display only the parts that fit yours.
