Accessories for the Kawasaki Z125

The Kawasaki Z125 is a naked bike suited to everyday city journeys and rides along winding roads. Useful additions depend on how you split your time between the two. Controls and protection matter in stop-start traffic, while a screen becomes more relevant when your route takes you out onto open roads.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki Z125

• Screens: A screen helps deflect airflow away from your upper body when the commute stretches beyond city streets. For a Z125 used on longer country-road rides as well as short urban trips, wind protection is a practical place to start.
• Crash protection: Parking manoeuvres and frequent stops are part of everyday urban riding. Protectors can help limit damage to the areas they cover if your Z125 tips over, making them a useful priority for a bike used throughout the working week.
• Handlebars and levers: Repeated braking and clutch use put the focus on hand position in city traffic. Changes to the bars and levers can help tailor the riding position and control reach on your Z125, particularly when commuting is its main job.
• Number plate holders: The rear of a naked bike is visually exposed, so the plate holder can make a noticeable difference to its appearance. On the Z125, this is an option for changing the rear-end finish rather than adding touring equipment.
• Phone mounts: Navigation is useful when your Z125 takes you across unfamiliar parts of town or out towards a new weekend route. A mount keeps directions in view; set the route before leaving and avoid handling the phone while riding.

For mainly urban use, prioritise comfortable controls and protection. If open-road mileage becomes a regular part of your week, consider wind protection before purely cosmetic changes.
