Accessories for KAWASAKI Z250SL

Accessories for your Kawasaki Z250SL

The Kawasaki Z250SL is a naked bike suited to everyday journeys and outings on winding roads. Those uses put different demands on its accessories: frequent stops make the controls worth thinking about, while longer stretches out of town bring wind exposure into focus. Start with your riding position and the routes you use most often.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki Z250SL

• Handlebars: these shape your reach to the controls and the position of your upper body. For a Z250SL used around town and on twisty roads, aim for a position that leaves your arms relaxed rather than stretched, without putting excessive pressure on your wrists.
• Levers: commuting involves repeated clutch and brake inputs, particularly in stop-start traffic. The reach from the grips and the way your fingers rest on each lever matter when you spend much of your Z250SL ride between junctions.
• Footrests: secure foot support matters when moving through a series of bends, but knee position deserves equal attention. On a Z250SL that also handles the daily commute, a sporty riding position should not come at the expense of everyday comfort.
• Screens: a useful consideration when your journeys extend beyond urban streets. With the exposed riding position of a naked bike, a screen can redirect some airflow away from your torso, making its height and shape relevant to longer road rides.
• Crash protection: regular parking and low-speed manoeuvres are part of using the Z250SL as daily transport. Crash protectors and bars can help limit some damage if the bike tips over, although they cannot protect every component in every fall.

Consider handlebars, levers and footrests together: the relationship between your hands, seat and feet matters more than changing any one contact point in isolation.
