Accessories for the Kawasaki ZRX1100

The Kawasaki ZRX1100 is a classic-looking naked bike suited to everyday journeys and days out on the open road. That mix of uses makes riding position, rearward visibility and protection sensible starting points when choosing accessories. For longer trips, luggage deserves attention too, especially if you want to carry your belongings on the bike rather than in a rucksack.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki ZRX1100

The most useful additions depend on whether your ZRX1100 spends more time in town, on winding roads or away for the weekend:

• Handlebars: offer a way to tailor your arm position and reach to the controls. On a naked bike used for both commuting and leisure rides, the aim is a comfortable stance that works for low-speed manoeuvres without feeling awkward after several hours on the road.
• Mirrors: can complement the ZRX1100’s traditional styling while providing a useful view behind. If you regularly ride through town, their positioning matters particularly when watching approaching traffic before joining a road or moving into another lane.
• Protectors: are worth considering for a bike frequently wheeled around garages or parked on busy streets. They help limit damage to the areas they cover in a stationary drop or low-speed fall, rather than changing how the bike rides.
• Suspension: deserves attention when winding-road outings are a regular part of your riding. Suspension components can help you work towards a balance of comfort and control, with your usual mix of solo riding and pillion trips informing the choice.
• Luggage cases: provide room for clothing and personal items on weekends away, as well as everyday essentials during the working week. For a ZRX1100 used on longer journeys, carrying luggage on the bike also reduces what you need to keep on your back.
