Accessories for the Kawasaki ZRX1200R

The Kawasaki ZRX1200R is a classic-style naked that suits everyday road riding as well as weekend outings on twisty routes. That mix gives accessory choices a clear direction: managing wind exposure on longer journeys, protecting exposed areas and making the riding position work for you. There is also room for subtle finishing touches that respect its traditional look.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki ZRX1200R

• Screens: worth considering when a weekend ride involves long stretches of motorway or open A-road. A screen helps redirect airflow around your upper body, with the aim of adding useful wind protection without overwhelming the ZRX1200R's classic styling.
• Protectors, crash bungs and crash bars: help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike goes over. For a ZRX1200R used as daily transport, they offer a practical safeguard around the parking spaces and garage manoeuvres that come with regular urban riding.
• Handlebars and levers: address how you reach and operate the controls. If you switch between town traffic and longer country-road rides, a comfortable arm position and suitable lever reach matter more than a cockpit layout chosen purely for its appearance.
• Fasteners: visible fixings are part of the overall finish on a classic-looking naked. Replacing them can tidy up the details of your ZRX1200R while keeping the customisation understated, rather than changing the character of the whole bike.
• Suspension: a relevant area to focus on when your riding centres on winding roads. Suspension components concern how the bike's movements are controlled, making them a more purposeful consideration for this use than purely cosmetic additions.

For a bike that handles both the commute and weekend trips, build around riding comfort and protection first. Finishing details can then complement that practical setup.
