Accessories for the Keeway F-Act 50 City

The Keeway F-Act 50 City is a scooter suited to urban journeys, from familiar commutes to a string of errands across town. Frequent stops, tight parking spaces and changing directions make everyday convenience more relevant than extras intended for long-distance touring. The accessories worth fitting depend on where your own journeys become awkward: manoeuvring in confined spaces, finding a new address or riding along a more exposed road. Keeping those situations in mind helps you focus on useful additions without losing sight of what this scooter is normally used for.

What riders usually fit to the Keeway F-Act 50 City

Protectors, phone mounts and screens all have a place on an urban scooter, but they tackle different parts of the ride. Here is where each can make a difference on the F-Act 50 City.

• Protectors: daily town riding involves wheeling the scooter into parking spots, turning it around in limited space and passing close to kerbs or other parked vehicles. Protectors are worth considering for areas exposed to everyday knocks and scuffs. They suit a scooter that is parked and moved by hand as often as it is ridden.
• Phone mounts: a visible route is helpful when a familiar commute turns into a visit to an unfamiliar part of town. A mount lets you glance at directions without repeatedly stopping to take your phone out. On busy streets, it is especially important that following the route does not distract you from junctions and other road users.
• Screens: some city journeys include long avenues or more open stretches where wind becomes more noticeable. A screen can take some of that airflow off the rider, which may feel more worthwhile when you repeat the same route every day. Puig is among the accessory brands available for this model.

If most of your riding is stop-start, protection or easier navigation may matter more than wind cover. For journeys with longer open sections, a screen may be the addition you notice most.
