Accessories for the Keeway Hurricane 50

The Keeway Hurricane 50 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys, particularly around town. Short rides, frequent stops and parking in tight spaces all shape what is worth fitting to it. Rather than changing the character of the scooter, accessories can address the small things you notice repeatedly: exposure to the wind on more open roads or the risk of scuffs when you park. Think about which part of your usual ride calls for more attention before deciding what to add.

What riders usually fit to the Keeway Hurricane 50

• Protectors: city riding often ends with a careful manoeuvre into a narrow parking space, sometimes beside other vehicles. Protectors are intended to help shield the areas they cover from minor knocks and scuffs. They make particular sense if you leave your Hurricane 50 in shared parking areas or regularly move it through confined spaces. Their purpose is limited, though: they are not a way to prevent damage in every fall.
• Screens: a short journey can still include a stretch where you feel the wind more strongly than you do on slower streets. A screen deflects some of that airflow, which may make repeated journeys more comfortable, especially if your route takes you onto more open roads. Its shape and size affect how much shelter it provides, so it is worth considering whether wind protection matters more to you than an unobstructed-looking front end.

This page brings together protectors and screens for the Keeway Hurricane 50, including options from Puig. If your riding mixes busy streets with more open sections, these two accessory types address different moments of the same journey: parking at the end and airflow along the way.
