Accessories for the Kove 800X GT

The Kove 800X GT is an adventure bike suited to everyday journeys, weekend road rides and touring. Those uses call for different priorities: wind protection matters on long stretches of open road, while your riding position and protection against low-speed mishaps deserve attention when your week mixes commuting with longer outings.

What riders usually fit to the Kove 800X GT

• Screens: Long road sections make wind management a practical concern on the 800X GT. A screen helps deflect airflow away from your upper body, making this a useful area to focus on if touring and extended main-road journeys account for most of your riding.
• Protectors and crash bars: These help limit damage to the areas they cover in a minor fall. On an adventure bike used for trips, their value is not confined to riding: parking manoeuvres and awkward stops can also lead to a loss of balance.
• Footrests: If your 800X GT routes include unpaved tracks and riding while standing, a firm platform for your feet becomes particularly useful. Footrests help support your body as you change position and move with the bike, rather than simply providing somewhere to rest your boots.
• Levers: Town riding involves frequent clutch and brake use, while winding roads reward measured inputs. The lever shape affects how your fingers rest on each control, making this a relevant detail for an 800X GT that covers both sorts of journey.
• Phone mounts: Navigation is particularly useful when a touring route takes you onto unfamiliar roads. A dedicated mount gives your phone a place on the 800X GT, rather than leaving you to retrieve it from a pocket at every stop to check directions.

Set your route before you leave, and position the phone so it does not obstruct the controls or restrict handlebar movement.
