Accessories for the KTM 125 SMC R

The KTM 125 SMC R is a supermoto suited to nimble everyday riding and winding roads. That mix of uses shapes which accessories make sense. Luggage can help when you need to carry things across town, while footrests are more relevant to how you feel and move on the bike. There is no need to treat every ride like a tour: the useful additions are the ones that match where you go and what you take with you.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 125 SMC R

Think about a typical ride before deciding what to add. A commute, an afternoon out and a favourite stretch of bends each put the emphasis somewhere different:

• Luggage: cases give you somewhere to put the things you need for work, college or a day away from home. They are especially useful if your 125 SMC R is part of your daily routine and you would rather not carry everything in a rucksack.
• Footrests: these affect where your feet sit and how you support yourself when you shift position. They are worth considering if you enjoy an active riding posture on twisty roads or want a different feel underfoot.
• Exhausts: for riders looking to change the sound and appearance of their 125 SMC R, an exhaust is a way to make the bike feel more personal on familiar roads.
• Crash protection: guards and protectors can help shield parts of the bike in a fall. That is a consideration when your riding includes frequent urban journeys as well as outings on winding roads.

Daily carrying needs, the way you position yourself and the protection you want are separate decisions. Keeping those uses in mind makes it easier to focus on the accessories that matter to your riding.
