Accessories for the KTM 125 EXC

The KTM 125 EXC is an enduro bike built for riding away from tarmac. On rough ground, being able to move freely while standing on the pegs matters as much as protecting exposed parts from knocks. That makes a different set of accessories useful than you might choose for a road bike: think about tight trails, slow sections and what you need to carry on a ride.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 125 EXC

• Protectors: help shield exposed areas from stones, branches and scrapes when the trail narrows or the bike goes down at low speed.
• Levers: make sense on a bike where clutch and brake control play such a large part in picking your way through slow, uneven sections.
• Footpegs: matter when riding standing up, as your feet support your weight and help you guide the bike over changing ground.
• Luggage: gives you somewhere to carry essentials for a trail ride. On an enduro bike, where you put that load also affects how easily you can shift your position.
• Crash protection: is useful when a tricky turn, an awkward stop or an obstacle puts the bike at risk of a knock or a low-speed fall.

Choosing accessories for different KTM 125 EXC years

The KTM 125 EXC has changed over the years. This page covers the 2000–2023 and 2025 versions, but some parts do not fit both. Luggage, footpegs and crash protection are among the items where the difference matters. Choose your bike’s year on this page to see only the parts that fit yours, rather than assuming an accessory for another year will work.

For days on the trails, start with the areas most exposed to the terrain and the parts that affect how freely you can move on the bike.
