Accessories for the KTM 1390 Super Adventure R

Long road journeys and time on unpaved tracks call for different priorities on the KTM 1390 Super Adventure R. This adventure bike suits riders who want to combine touring with riding beyond the tarmac. Wind protection and luggage matter on the journey out, while protection and a secure footing become more relevant when the route turns rough.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 1390 Super Adventure R

• Windscreens: help reduce wind exposure during long stretches of road riding. For trips that also include trails, think about the balance between coverage at cruising speeds and a clear view of the ground ahead when tackling slower sections.
• Protectors and crash bars: are worth considering for uneven tracks and low-speed manoeuvres with luggage aboard. They help protect the areas they cover against knocks or a fall, though no protective accessory can prevent every kind of damage.
• Footrests: provide an important contact point when you switch between sitting on road sections and standing on the pegs off-road. The support area and grip deserve attention if you ride in boots and regularly change position over uneven ground.
• Luggage: gives you space for clothing and essentials on multi-day trips, including journeys with a pillion. When your itinerary mixes roads and trails, matching luggage capacity to what you actually need helps avoid carrying unnecessary bulk through the off-road sections.
• Phone mounts: keep navigation directions visible on unfamiliar roads, which is useful on touring routes with frequent junctions and planned stops. A mounted phone also lets you check your itinerary when stopped without unpacking it from a bag each time.

For mostly road-based touring, start with wind protection and luggage. If unpaved routes feature regularly in your plans, give protection and foot support greater priority.
