Accessories for the KTM 1390 Super Adventure S EVO

Long road journeys are a natural fit for the KTM 1390 Super Adventure S EVO, an adventure bike suited to touring. The most useful additions address the realities of spending hours in the saddle: wind exposure, carrying enough luggage and staying comfortable. Whether you ride alone or with a pillion also makes a difference to how you organise the bike for a weekend away.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 1390 Super Adventure S EVO

• Windscreens: sustained motorway riding puts wind protection high on the list for touring. A screen can help reduce wind pressure on your upper body, but its height needs to suit your seated position while keeping your view of the road clear.
• Luggage: carrying clothes and overnight essentials on the bike saves you wearing a rucksack throughout a long ride. With a pillion aboard, dedicated luggage becomes particularly useful because the rear seat needs to remain available rather than becoming packing space.
• Crash bars and protectors: parking and low-speed manoeuvres deserve attention on a touring adventure bike, particularly when packed for a trip. These accessories can help limit damage to the areas they cover in a stationary tip-over, rather than leaving those parts exposed.
• Footrests: a comfortable platform for your boots matters when a route combines motorway miles with winding roads. Footrest shape and contact area affect how your feet sit, making them worth considering when preparing for extended periods in the riding position.
• Phone mounts: useful for riders who rely on their phone for navigation when exploring unfamiliar roads. Keeping it secured means it need not be repeatedly packed away between stops; set the route before departure and pull over before making changes.

For two-up touring, plan luggage around both riders. Extra carrying capacity should leave your pillion room to sit and move comfortably over a full day on the road.
