Accessories for the KTM 1390 Super Duke R EVO

The KTM 1390 Super Duke R EVO is a sports naked whose natural territory is a twisting road, with track days another way to enjoy its sporting focus. That makes the connection between rider and bike an important starting point for accessories. If yours also handles everyday journeys, protection and relief from wind pressure deserve attention alongside the controls and riding position.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 1390 Super Duke R EVO

A road-focused setup need not follow the same priorities as a track-day build. These are useful areas to consider for the way you ride.

• Levers: shape and reach affect how your fingers work the brake and clutch. On a sports naked used for flowing bends, comfortable operation matters, but so does avoiding an awkward stretch when working the clutch through town.
• Footrests: a secure platform matters when you shift your body position through a sequence of bends. For a sport-focused Super Duke setup, the footrest shape and contact surface deserve consideration alongside leg comfort on the roads between the interesting sections.
• Protectors and crash protection: these help limit damage to exposed areas in a low-speed fall. They are worth considering for a naked that sees regular parking manoeuvres and daily use, as well as one being prepared for occasional track days.
• Screens: a screen redirects some of the airflow reaching your upper body. If getting to your favourite roads involves motorway miles, this can make wind protection a worthwhile addition without turning the focus of your KTM towards touring.
• Number plate holders: these offer a way to change the appearance of the rear end, a common styling priority on sports nakeds. When refining the Super Duke's tail, consider the plate holder and indicators together for a coherent result.
