Accessories for the KTM 150EXC TPI

The KTM 150EXC TPI is an enduro bike intended for riding off road. On a trail ride, the ground beneath you and the time spent standing on the bike often matter more than the distance on the clock. That makes protection and rider controls particularly relevant when choosing accessories, especially if your routes include slow, technical sections as well as easier tracks.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 150EXC TPI

It helps to think about where you use the bike most: on rough trails, during stops in the field or on the road between riding areas. Each setting puts different demands on the accessories you fit.

• Protectors: rough ground, stones and branches make exposed parts a consideration on an enduro ride. Protection is a sensible starting point if your 150EXC TPI spends most of its time away from tarmac.
• Levers: clutch and brake inputs are frequent through tight turns and slow sections. Levers deserve attention when much of your riding involves fine control, particularly while standing on the pegs.
• Stands and sidestands: useful when you stop between sections and when it is time to tend to the bike after a muddy or dusty outing. They also have a place in the routine before the next ride.
• Mirrors: worth considering if your trail routes involve road links, where keeping track of traffic behind you becomes part of the journey.
• Screens: a possible choice for riders who regularly connect off-road sections by road and would like some shelter from the wind during those stretches.

For predominantly off-road riding, protectors and levers address different priorities from screens and mirrors. Consider how much of each outing takes place on trails rather than connecting roads: that balance gives you a useful way to decide what belongs on your bike.
