Accessories for the KTM 250EXC

The KTM 250EXC is an enduro bike used on trails, tracks and more demanding off-road sections. Riding it often means working through ruts, narrow passages and slow turns rather than simply covering distance. That makes exposed parts, lever control and visibility on the road sections between trails practical things to consider. The accessories that matter most will depend on whether your rides focus on technical ground or include longer stretches linking one trail to the next.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 250EXC

• Protectors: branches, stones and the occasional low-speed drop are familiar hazards on an enduro ride. Protectors help shield exposed areas from knocks and scrapes when you are threading the KTM 250EXC through a tight trail or picking a line across uneven ground.
• Levers: clutch and brake inputs are frequent when you are balancing the bike through slow sections or controlling it on a descent. Keeping the levers in good order is particularly useful when riding standing up on the pegs and making small corrections before the next corner or obstacle.
• Mirrors: an off-road route can still involve a road section to reach the next trail. A mirror helps you keep an eye on traffic behind you during those stretches, especially before changing direction or joining a road after riding with a group.

For this bike, it is worth thinking about where you spend most of your riding time. Tight woodland trails make protection especially relevant; rides with more road links bring rearward visibility into the picture. The aim is to address the demands of your usual route without treating every enduro outing as the same kind of ride.
