Accessories for the KTM 250 EXC-F Champion Edition

The KTM 250 EXC-F Champion Edition is an enduro bike made for riding away from tarmac. When you are picking a screen for this sort of riding, wind protection is only part of the picture. You also need to see the ground ahead clearly and move freely between sitting down and standing on the pegs. How often your rides include road sections matters: a screen that seems useful on a longer stretch of tarmac needs to make sense when the route turns back to the trails.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 250 EXC-F Champion Edition

For this bike, the available accessory type is a screen. It is worth thinking about where you spend your riding time before deciding what you want it to do. Wind exposure may be more noticeable while linking trails on the road, whereas off-road you are likely to be focused on the surface immediately ahead and changing position as you ride.

• Screens: a screen can offer some shelter from the wind during road links, particularly when you spend longer periods seated. On an enduro bike such as the 250 EXC-F Champion Edition, consider where the screen sits in your field of view when you stand on the pegs and look towards the next section of trail. The screens listed for this model include options from Puig.

Think about the balance of your usual rides before settling on a screen. A day mostly spent on trails makes different demands from one with lengthy road connections, even though both might be part of riding the same KTM. Keeping those conditions in mind helps you judge how useful extra wind shelter will be.
