Accessories for the KTM 250 EXC-F Six Days

The KTM 250 EXC-F Six Days is an enduro bike made for riding trails and tracks. Out on the trail, you may spend a good deal of time standing on the footpegs and moving your body with the terrain. Getting to and from those trails can mean longer stretches in the saddle, where the wind feels more noticeable. That contrast is worth thinking about when choosing what to fit: a ride spent almost entirely off road places different demands on the bike from one with lengthy road links.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 250 EXC-F Six Days

• Screens: a screen can give you some shelter from the wind during road links and other seated stretches. If you ride your Six Days to the start of a trail rather than transporting it there, that may make those miles more comfortable. Once you are riding standing up, the question shifts to how much room you have to move around the bike. Puig screens are among the accessories listed for this model.

On an enduro bike, a screen is less about turning every ride into a road journey and more about the mix of riding you actually do. Think about where the exposed, seated miles fall in your usual day. A short link between nearby trails may make wind protection less important to you; a longer journey to reach the riding area gives it a more obvious role. At the same time, the space in front of you matters when you change position frequently on uneven ground.
