Accessories for the KTM 250 EXC TPI

The KTM 250 EXC TPI is an enduro bike used on trails and tracks, where riding standing up and negotiating uneven ground are part of the day. That makes protection and control more relevant than touring equipment when deciding what to fit. The routes around the riding matter too: a short stretch of road between trails calls for different accessories from a day spent entirely off road.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 250 EXC TPI

The most useful additions reflect the conditions this KTM encounters, both while riding and between outings:

• Protectors: exposed parts face stones, ruts and low-speed falls on narrow trails. Protection is particularly worth considering if your rides include rocky sections or places where there is little room to manoeuvre.
• Levers: clutch and brake inputs come thick and fast on slow, technical ground. The right levers can make those repeated movements more comfortable, especially when you are standing on the pegs and working through an awkward section.
• Screens: a screen can help take some of the wind off you during road links between off-road routes. On an enduro bike, it is an addition for those connecting miles rather than a reason to treat the bike as a tourer.
• Stands and side stands: they are useful when stopping during a ride and when leaving the bike supported for cleaning or routine attention afterwards. Those practical moments matter when the bike regularly comes home covered in trail dirt.
• Mirrors: if your routes include roads open to traffic, they help you keep track of what is behind you while moving between the sections you came to ride.

Puig is among the accessory brands available for this model. Whether you spend most of your time on technical trails or regularly ride road links will shape which of these additions earns its place.
