Accessories for the KTM 390 SMC R

The KTM 390 SMC R is a supermoto suited to lively riding around town and on winding roads. That mix makes the way you use it particularly relevant when choosing accessories. A short ride with just the essentials calls for something different from a weekend outing where you need to carry extra kit. Luggage, footpegs and protection each address a different part of riding this bike, without assuming that every trip has to be the same.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 390 SMC R

With the 2025 390 SMC R, it makes sense to start with what you actually do on the bike. These are the accessories that serve a clear purpose on everyday rides and longer runs alike:

• Luggage cases: useful when a ride stretches beyond a quick spin and you want to carry a change of clothes or waterproofs without wearing a rucksack for hours. They also make sense for trips across town when you regularly have belongings to take with you.
• Footpegs: where your boots meet the bike matters when you shift your position through a series of bends. For a supermoto ridden with an active stance, the feel and support of the pegs can make a noticeable difference to how settled you feel over a longer ride.
• Crash protectors and guards: intended to help protect parts of the bike if it tips over or goes down at low speed. That is relevant not only to spirited rides but also to the ordinary stops and manoeuvres that come with using a supermoto in town.

These additions do not have to change the purpose of the 390 SMC R. They let you address the practical details of your own riding: what you need to bring, how you support yourself on the bike and where a little extra protection would be welcome.
