Accessories for KTM 525SX SUPERMOTO

Accessories for the KTM 525SX Supermoto

The KTM 525SX Supermoto is built around the appeal of supermoto riding: braking, changing direction and linking corners. That makes accessories for exposed areas and frequently used controls more relevant than touring luggage. What you choose also depends on where you ride. A day spent riding tight bends puts different demands on the bike from a journey on public roads, even though both call for a clear sense of control.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 525SX Supermoto

• Protectors: when you are negotiating tight turns or moving the bike at low speed, a fall or an awkward tip-over can be an unwelcome interruption. Protectors are intended to help safeguard the areas each piece is designed for. On a supermoto, they address a practical concern without changing the focus of the bike towards long-distance travel.
• Levers: a riding style that repeatedly moves from acceleration to braking places plenty of emphasis on how the controls feel in your hands. Levers for the 525SX Supermoto are worth considering in relation to your riding position and how comfortably you reach the controls, particularly when your attention is on the next corner.
• Mirrors: for riding on public roads, awareness of traffic behind you matters when joining a road, turning or changing position. Mirrors serve a different purpose from protectors and levers, but they can be just as relevant if your supermoto rides include everyday road use as well as sessions focused on corners.

Puig is among the accessory brands available for this KTM. Start with the kind of riding you actually do: protection and the feel of the controls matter when the route is all about bends, while mirrors take on particular importance when you share the road with other traffic.
